Taleb Alwadi

I am a PhD student, studying part-time at the Research School of Physics - at the Australian National University. In my PhD project, I am working on Antimonide Semiconductor materials, mainly Nanoporous Gallium Antimonide and Indium Antimonide, Investigating the microstructural and morphological changes of both materials after swift heavy ion irradiation at various fluences with different ions. Optical and structural properties of the materials will be examined using high-resolution characterisation techniques such as Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry (RBS), X-ray absorption spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM).
